Here we go again! Koei Tecmo/Team NINJA have just announced that the annual Dead or Alive 5Halloween costume design contest will be returning once again this year! Just like the previous two years, they’re asking fans to submit original costume designs for their favorite characters, and if you’re lucky, some of those costumes might just end up in the game! (You could even win some prizes as well.) You can submit as many designs as you wish, for as many characters as you wish, so if you have any bright ideas you’d like to see come to life, now’s the time to show them off!
This is particularly important for fans of the male characters of the series, as the Halloween costume packs are one of the few times the guys actually have the chance to get some sexy outfits. I know there’s an incredible amount of immensely talented artists on Tumblr, so if you, or someone you know, might be interested in this, please pass the word on!

No you don’t HAVE to be married in game and NO I won’t be accepting submissions of platonic or single characters.
All prize art will be sfw, although I’m willing to go a little risqué or suggestive but we’ll deal with that when the winners are drawn, so if your characters are Asexual BUT homoromantic I’m still more than happy to accept your submissions.
Anyway, that’s enough rules for now, get together and get submitting.

Hey folks! Thanks to the people who assisted me in testing, I now have a functioning build of the game for you all to preview. It’s pretty brief, just the first scene of the demo, but I thought it might be fun to introduce the player character through some early gameplay rather than what I’ve been doing for other characters.

There are two readme files, the first is a text file with installation and running instructions, the second has gameplay instructions (that likely won’t be necessary, but I included it anyway)

Here’s a preview of some artwork from an upcoming chapter of the bara RPG The End of Dreams, by Studio HANA. The gentleman above is named Kururwach, a man of the cloth (when he’s wearing cloth), and a potential new party member. Just how Kevin & co. will encounter this soaking, saintly stud is still a mystery, so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens!
If you’re unfamiliar with this game, the first chapter is available to download right now in English (for free!), on the developer’s official tumblr page. There is currently no release date for the next chapter, but work seems to be progressing along quite nicely, so stay tuned for further developments. And if you like the game, please consider telling your bara loving friends about it, as well as sending the creators some words of appreciation! It only takes a few moments, and it can make a big impact.

This April marks the three year anniversary of the formation of Lifewonders LLC, the studio behind the mobile bara JRPG Fantastic Boyfriends: Legends of Midearth, and to mark this occasion, the company has posted their plans for the upcoming year and beyond. Among these was some information about the planned English version of the game. While development is still primarily focused on the continued support of the Japanese version, progress on the western release has continued forward. According to this most recent update, the English version is currently at 30% completion. As always, they have reiterated that they fully intend to expand their products to regions outside Japan, but because they are such a small company, this will take time.
So everyone that’s been waiting so patiently for this game’s English release, please consider sending some encouragement to the developers! I know I say this a lot, but we all send multiple messages/tweets/emails/etc most everyday to various people, we can all spare a few moments to type up a few supportive words for the developers endeavoring to produce games such as these.
This is a really cool company that’s trying their best to establish a foothold in the marketplace, by developing LGBT content, from LGBT creators, for LGBT gamers. (And all those that wish to support this type of titles.) This is still largely uncharted territory, particularly in the mobile scene, so let’s keep the support going strong!
